Workauto Release Update: Q1 2026

Key Features and Improvements
This release brings significant enhancements to two core areas of Workauto:
Multi-Day Planner: A highly requested feature, the planner now supports jobs that span multiple days, giving you more flexibility and control over longer-term work. The existing single-day view is still available if that's your preferred workflow.
Planner Filters: The planner now includes a powerful filter system that helps you focus on what matters. You can filter by:
Technician — Show only jobs assigned to a specific technician. Useful when you have multiple staff and want to focus on one person's schedule.
Status — Filter by job status: Booked, Active, On Hold, Workshop Complete, or Job Finished. You can select multiple statuses at once.
Tags (match any) — Filter by tags assigned to jobs, such as Courtesy Car or Waiting. Any job matching at least one selected tag will be shown.
Max Job Duration — Hide jobs longer than a set duration. Choose from 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, or All. Useful if you want to focus on shorter jobs without multi-day bookings taking up space.
In addition to these major updates, we have rolled out numerous other small bug fixes and user experience improvements across the platform, all aimed at providing a more stable and intuitive experience.
Our docs have also had a major revamp so check them out at https://docs.workauto.co.uk/
What's Next on the Roadmap?
We're already looking ahead and are excited about what's to come. Our next major updates will include:
SMS Reminders for Vehicle Health Checks: Stay connected with your customers automatically — SMS reminders for service and MOT are coming soon.
Improved Mobile Views: We are working on better mobile experiences across all areas of the app, so you can manage your workshop on the go.
We hope you find this update valuable! We are open to any suggestions, feedback or requests that you may have, so please feel free to drop us a line using the contact form here
