Workauto Release Update: Q1 2026

Key Features and Improvements
This release brings significant enhancements to two core areas of workauto:
Logging Time: This one is mostly behind the scenes but we have completely reworked the core logic behind time logging. The biggest change you will see as a user is that you can create time logs for a job in the Techview rather than running a timer - you can still use the timer as before if that's your preferred workflow.
Vehicle & MOT Reminders/Booking Confirmations: You can now view all pending/sent reminders in the system. These are the Vehicle Reminders for Service/MOT as well as the Job Booking Confirmation and Reminders. SMS reminders are coming soon.
In addition to these major updates, we have rolled out numerous other small bug fixes and user experience improvements across the platform, all aimed at providing a more stable and intuitive experience.
What’s Next on the Roadmap?
We're already looking ahead we and are excited about what's to come. Our next major updates will include:
Multi-Day Jobs on the Planner: A highly requested feature, we will be introducing the ability for jobs to span multiple days on the planner, giving you more flexibility and control over longer term jobs. The planner filter system is also getting additional powerful capabilities which will combine with tags. But don't worry, the Single Day existing planner will still be available if that's what you prefer.
Improved Tagging : We are also making improvements to our tagging system, which will allow for more powerful and detailed reporting. This will give you deeper insights into your business performance and help you make data-driven decisions.
We hope you find this update valuable! We are open to any suggestions, feedback or requests that you may have, so please feel free to drop us a line using the contact form here
