Workauto Release Update: April 2026

Key Features and Improvements

This release brings significant enhancements to two core areas of Workauto:

• MOT Expiry Date via Vehicle Lookup: The vehicle lookup tool now automatically populates the MOT expiry date when you search a registration. This is super useful, to be able to upsell MOT's to customers who might not remember that its expired!

• Office View Mobile Responsiveness: The Office view has been substantially reworked for mobile. Whether you're on a phone or tablet, navigating and managing your workshop on the go is now a much smoother experience.

In addition to these major updates, we have rolled out numerous other small bug fixes and user experience improvements across the platform, all aimed at providing a more stable and intuitive experience.

What's Next on the Roadmap?

We're already looking ahead and are excited about what's to come. Our next major updates will include:

• Logged Time Breakdown per Job: Get a detailed breakdown of time logged against each job, along with the ability to overwrite logged time entries where needed.

• SMS Reminders for Services and MOTs: Stay connected with your customers automatically — SMS reminders will notify them ahead of upcoming services and MOT due dates.
